While walking on the path shown to us by our respected and revered maternal grandfather, Late Shri Ghanshyam Dass Ji Bansal, we are proud to continue his legacy by bringing ‘The Ghanshyam Amritsar Mithaiwale’ to the vibrant cities of Jalandhar and Ludhiana.

My grandfather was a hardworking man who burned the midnight oil and firmly believed in the power of good deeds. Born and raised in Chhapar village, Haryana, he moved to Amritsar in 1960 and began his journey with a tea stall. Through immense hard work and unwavering determination, he opened his first sweets shop in Amritsar in 1980. His dedication and commitment to quality soon won over the hearts—and tastebuds—of people not just in Amritsar, but also in Delhi, where his irresistible flavors became widely loved.

 

With his blessings, our sweets continue to win hearts and earn the trust of people far and wide. He remains an enduring inspiration, having motivated us to work hard and stay true to our roots. 

We are deeply honored to carry forward his legacy—offering delectable flavors backed by nearly half a century of trust and craftsmanship.
